Clinic in Turkey
As is well known, many roads lead to Rome. This also applies to hair transplants - different methods can be used to achieve full hair. There are two well-known techniques, "FUE" and "FUT". Learn more about these methods below.
The classic FUE method (Follicular Unit Extraction) is characterised by the extraction of individual hair root groups, the so-called grafts. Follicular units are extracted from the donor area at the back of the head, temporarily stored and sorted in a salt water solution, and then implanted individually into the hair crown.
The FUE method is considered less invasive than the FUT method. While the FUT method leaves long scars in the donor area, the FUE method leaves only punctual scars that are no longer visible after a successful healing process under regrown hair.
The classic FUE method requires a longer healing time (15-20 days) compared to the sapphire FUE method as it causes more tissue damage. It also causes more visible scars than the sapphire FUE method.
Every single step in the hair transplant process matters to create a good, lasting and natural result. Learn more about the procedure here.
Your hair transplant will be performed on this day.
We will see you on the first day after your hair transplant for a check-up. At this first appointment we can remove the dressing from the donor site and examine the entire transplanted area to rule out any infections or other minor complications that may occur.
Healing phase of the open canals and attachment of the grafts - thanks to the sapphire method, healing is additionally supported by less tissue damage. The formation of small crusts is to be expected and completely normal.
You have your second check-up appointment. Here we make sure that the grafts are growing properly and check the general healing.
The transplanted hairs will initially fall out, which is a normal part of the process. This process is also called shedding. A slight redness in the treated area is also to be expected.
From day 30, most of our clients start their PRP treatment with autologous blood. It supports the healing of the scalp, the attachment of the grafts and the hair growth of the new hair. In addition, the PRP treatment supports the health of the non-transplanted hair, which protects it from falling out.
New hair growth starts and you notice small, fine hairs in the recipient area.
Hair growth continues and you will notice increasing density and coverage in the transplanted area.
Again, we welcome you for a check-up appointment. We will look at your hair growth and check your interim results.
A significant improvement in hair density and texture is visible, giving your hair a more natural and fuller look.
At this stage, most of the hair growth is complete and you can enjoy the final result of your hair transplant. At the final appointment, your final result will be documented with photos and a second hair scan.
