Diffuse Alopecia

Diffuse Alopecia

In diffuse alopecia, the hair thins out evenly across the head – in contrast to hereditary hair loss, which manifests itself in a receding hairline or tonsure, or circular hair loss, which results in small bald patches about the size of a coin. Although diffuse hair loss can lead to thinning hair, it rarely results in complete baldness.
