Autologous Hair Transplant

Autologous Hair Transplant

In an autologous hair transplant, active, hormone-resistant hair follicles are removed from a region densely populated with hair ("donor area", often at the lower back of the head) and transplanted to the bald areas ("recipient area", often at the top and front of the head). After successfully growing in the recipient area, the transplanted hair follicles produce hair for a lifetime.
