Beard Transplantation

Beard Transplantation

During a beard transplant, active, hormone-resistant hair follicles are removed from a region densely populated with hair ("donor area", often at the lower back of the head) and transplanted to the bald areas in the beard area ("recipient area"). After successfully growing in the recipient area, the transplanted hair follicles produce hair for a lifetime.
