Granit Lekaj, a Swiss professional soccer player with roots in Kosovo, plays as a centre-back for FC Winterthur (FCW) in the Swiss Super League. He began his soccer career as a youth player at FC Pfäffikon before moving to FC Winterthur, where he made his first-team debut in 2010. After successful spells at FC Wil and FC Schaffhausen, Lekaj returned to Winterthur in 2018 and took on the role of captain.

Despite suffering a serious foot fracture in April 2023, which sidelined him for the rest of the season, he continued to show loyalty and commitment to his club. The FCW captain made his Super League debut at the age of 32. Lekaj is known for his leadership qualities, combative attitude and tireless commitment on the pitch.
