Sebaceous Glands

Sebaceous Glands

Sebaceous glands are glands that release a secretion through the pores onto the surface of the skin which moisturises the skin. They are located under the epidermis in the so called dermis and are mostly found on the hair follicle. Blockage of these glands leads to skin blemishes such as pimples.
