Microneedling

Microneedling

Microneedling involves inserting many fine, short needles into the uppermost layer of the skin (epidermis) and therefore simulating an injury to the skin. The skin reacts with self-healing mechanisms, such as the release of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which strengthen the connective tissue. Microneedling is a weakened form of medical needling.
