In single hair extraction, also known as FUE method (Follicular Unit Excision), groups of hair roots are removed individually from the donor area at the back of the head using a hollow needle. After removal, they are sorted by size and temporarily stored in a salt water solution until they are finally implanted individually into the recipient area.
